All electrical licenses will expire December 31, 2013 Section 22-26(5), of the Comprehensive Building Code states all registered contractors must renew annually.  By renewing with thirty (30) days of the expiration date you will not be subjected to late fees.  After thirty (30) days or after January 31, 2012, late fees will be applied to you.

Renewal Fees are as follows:

Master $100.00     Journeyman $25.00     Apprentice $10.00

Late Fees:  Late fees consist of $50.00 beginning February 1, 2013.  After February 28, 2013 there will be an additional $25 per month not to exceed $100.00.

Example of Late Fee Charges:

Master renewing in March: $100 + $50 + $25 = $175.00

Journeyman renewing in March: $25 + $50 + $25 = $100.00

Apprentice renewing in March: $10 + $50 + $25 = $85

The Union Hall will again obtain your license.  Information needed is a copy of last license, personal information, and fee.  If you make out a check, make it payable to the City of Shreveport Permit Office.  If you go and renew at City Hall, go to 505 Travis St., Suite 130, Permits & Inspections Division.
